Volunteer Song
A volunteer sings a new song
To help the weary go on.
A volunteer is that extra spark
To move the world along.
A volunteer is the sound of hope
When things could start to go wrong.
We look round this place and we name the names
Of those who have gone forth and done.
Today as we meet here and through the years
You’ve given, you’ve been there, well done.
